Getting someone started in shotgunning doesn't have to 'hurt'. Winchester has a new line of AA Target Ammo that offers up to 50% less recoil and 50% less noise than standard loads. While we wouldn't use this for serious competition or hunting, it should be great for close-range trap or skeet practice, self-defense practice, and cowboy action. With a price comparable to standard loads, it's worth a try if you've got new or recoil adverse shooters.
