Savage Axis Rifle Packages
Savage is well known for building accurate 'out of the box' rifles at reasonable prices. New this year is their entry-level AXIS rifle series which offer outstanding value and quality. AXIS models are available with black and camo composite stocks with blued or stainless actions and barrels.
Blued packages with factory bore-sighted scopes start at well under $400 with stainless packages just a touch over $400 – an amazing value for Savage quality.

Functional Elegance – Ruger MkIII 22/45
Odds are, if someone owns more than 2 pistols, at least one is a Ruger Mark I, II, or III semi-auto. These pistols are know for their reliability, ease of shooting, and accuracy. While not the easiest to field strip and reassemble – they rarely need much more than a good cleaning of the action and are much less finicky about 22LR brands than many other pistols.
The Ruger Mark III pictured is a special edition we recently received with rich blueing, slab-sided barrel, and laser-engraved hardwood grips. This Mark III has the 22/45 grip profile – a square grip shape more similar to the Colt 1911 than the standard Mark III. Mark III’s come standard with two 10 round magazines and are pre-drilled and tapped for an included weaver scope rail. At $349.00, it will provide a lifetime of enjoyment at the range.
Sig Sauer P250 Pistol Series
Ranger Firearms is a full line stocking dealer for Sig Sauer pistols including models such as the P220, P226, P229, P2022, and the new Sig Mosquito.
Sig’s are well know for their quality and reliability, but are sometimes outside the price range of every customer. With their new P250 series, this is no longer the case as you can have a new Sig for under $500.
The P250 features a polymer grip frame with integrated accessory rail, double action only recessed hammer, and a unique internal frame/trigger group. The internal frame / trigger group allows for complete changes in grip frames and slide calibers without buying a 2nd handgun. The P250 is available in 9mm, 357 Sig, 40S&W, and 45ACP.
