Mil-Spec model features WWII era 1911A1 externals such as a standard

The PT-99 is a modern upgrade of the classic Beretta 92F (or M9 for US
Military) pistol. The main departure from the 92F is the relocation
of the safety/decocker from the slide to the frame. This allows for
both traditional DA/SA operation of the PT-99 or ‘cocked and locked’
carry with the hammer back. Priced under $500, it is very competitive
on price with a Beretta and features Taurus’s lifetime warranty.

New this month is the Ruger SP-101 in 22LR. Ruger did a great job
with this pistol – the pictures don’t do it justice. You get 8 shots
of 22LR with the great ergonomics and easy handling of the classic
SP-101. The 4 inch barrel, adjustable sights, and high-viz fiber
optic front sight will make this a great gun for the range or the
field.

As an SP-101, it’s compatible with a large set of aftermarket grips.
